Jake began his career as General Counsel to a freight forwarder working with his father, former
AfA Board Director Richard Fisher, at Falcon Global Edge Inc. (now BTX). At Falcon, Jake handled
Regulatory compliance with federal and state regulations, including government relations and
corporate matters, IP acquisition, strategic risk management/analysis, insurance policy
management, and claims.
Jake’s extensive career continued as a partner for the law firm of Scopelitis, Garvin, Light,
Hanson & Feary, PC, a leading U.S. transportation law firm. While at Scopelitis, Jake handled
several legal matters, including federal regulatory compliance, contract drafting and
negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and international trade issues.
Jake now serves as Vice president and General Counsel to AfA Platinum member Rock-It Global
and provides legal counsel on the firm’s regulatory compliance, international trade matters,
insurance, human resources, operational issues, and mergers.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College, a law degree from Widener University School
of Law, and is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars.
