The Airforwarders Association (AfA) takes great pride in understanding and actively communicating with airfreight forwarders throughout the United States, and one of our core goals is to provide opportunities for our members to engage with peers in the community.
The AfA hosts listening sessions and educational sessions on topics like K-9’s and congestion in cities around the United States and facilitates networking opportunities where members can discuss current events from advances in logistics technology to upcoming legislative priorities. AfA Executive Director, Brandon Fried, also travels regularly to speak to members and local air cargo associations in places like Los Angeles, Seattle, Columbus, and Atlanta. The AfA Board of Directors is made up of individuals representing companies of all sizes. Once per quarter the board meets in a different city, where they discuss advocating for members on a national scale, plan association initiatives, and attend events with the local air cargo community.
Brandon Fried also participates in panel discussions for member companies at their annual retreats, conferences or gatherings to share the Washington perspective and what he has seen and heard around the country. If you’d like for Brandon to be a part of your upcoming corporate event, please reach out to us here.
